Meet Steph !

Steph is co-owner of Complete Health Clinic, she qualified from Keele University in 2009 with BSc(Hons)Physiotherapy and gained extensive experience in the NHS across a wide range of specialities and has been working at a senior level since 2013. 

Steph decided to specialise in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy due to her love of mechanics and passion for rehabilitation. She has lectured in the undergraduate programme at King’s College, London as part of her senior role in Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital. 

Steph has completed a number of postgraduate training to compliment her assessment and treatment. Including Acupuncture, spinal Manipulation, McKenzie and Pilates. 

Steph has also completed post graduate training in women’s health and splits her clinical time between musculoskeletal and women’s health physiotherapy. She treats ladies with pelvic and back pain relating to pregnancy both ante and postnatally. She also aims to manage incontinence and prolapse and is a member of the POGP. 

Steph teaches antenatal and postnatal Pilates and aims to get back into triple jumping once she hits masters athlete age!

Meet Gillian !

Gillian is co-owner of Complete Health Clinic, she qualified from University of a Ulster in 1991 with BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy and worked in the NHS to a senior level - developing her interest in musculoskeletal, sports and spinal injuries. 

She completed postgraduate training in Sports Rehab at National Sports Medicine Institute, Ergonomics at Strathclyde University and completed her credentialing with The McKenzie Institute and post graduate Pilates training. Gillian upskilled in Acupuncture in 1996 and as a member of the AACP completes ongoing training every 18months. 

Gillian started in private practice over 20years ago and has specialized in the treatment of upper cervical pain and migraine management with the Watson Headache Institute based in New Zealand.

Meet Mary !

Mary qualified from York St John University in 2007 with BSc Physiotherapy. She worked full time in the NHS from 2007-2018 gaining knowledge in a range of specialities including respiratory and intensive care, falls prevention in the elderly and vestibular rehabilitation. Mary explored South Yorkshire, Kent, Hampshire, Wiltshire and the Isle of Mann before settling down in Northern Ireland. Mary currently splits her time between Northwest Independent Hospital, Ballykelly and Complete Health Clinic - where she is solely focused on musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions and vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness and migraines. Mary trained in Acupuncture in 2012 and continue to peruse further education in areas related to her specialist interests. Mary lives with her family in Portrush and makes the most of what the North Coast has to offer, running on the beach with her son and trying not to eat out in the restaurants too much!

Meet Ali !

Ali has been the Clinic Admin since 2011, She will be your first point of contact for any queries regarding Physiotherapy treatment and is responsible for organising all your appointments, whether it is an initial session or follow up appointment, for a day & time that suits you best.

We work with a large base of Health Insurance Companies and Ali can advise how to avail of this service.

Ali is an avid Marathon & Ultra-Marathon runner and Parkrun regular with a bit of cycling thrown in for fun.
